Meet The Founder
Hello, and welcome.
My name is Tamu, and I’m so grateful you’re here. I’m first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ, learning what it means to surrender my life to Him one day at a time. I’m not here because I’ve mastered the Christian walk or have all the answers. I’m here because God continues to teach me that obedience isn’t about perfection—it’s about continually placing every part of our lives on the altar and trusting Him with the outcome.
Like many of you, I wear many hats. I’m a working mother of two, balancing a traditional career while also delivering for Instacart, learning entrepreneurship, caring for my home, serving my family, growing in fitness and stewardship, and seeking to become more disciplined in prayer and the study of God’s Word. Every day brings new opportunities to trust God more deeply.
Stones on This Altar was born from my own journey of learning to surrender my fears, my plans, my failures, and even my successes to the Lord. I believe that every burden we lay before Him makes the climb lighter, because we were never meant to carry life’s weight alone.
This ministry is simply an invitation to walk together—to seek Christ first, encourage one another through Scripture, pray faithfully, and grow into women and men who live in agreement with God’s Word. My prayer is that everything shared here points beyond me and directly to Jesus, the One who transforms hearts and gives us strength for every step of the journey.

Stones on This Altar – Living in Agreement exists to encourage people to surrender their lives to God daily, live in agreement with His Word, and grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
The image of the altar reminds us that surrender has always been part of worship. Throughout Scripture, altars represented places of sacrifice, remembrance, obedience, and encounter with God. In the same way, we each carry “stones”—our burdens, dreams, fears, habits, relationships, disappointments, and victories. Rather than carrying them alone, we are invited to lay them before the Lord.
This ministry is a record of one ordinary believer learning to do exactly that.
Here you’ll find biblical encouragement, devotionals, prayer, Bible studies, honest conversations about faith in everyday life, and practical reminders that following Jesus is not reserved for extraordinary people. It is lived out in kitchens, workplaces, grocery deliveries, family dinners, quiet mornings with Scripture, and countless ordinary moments where God faithfully meets His children.
Our desire is that every resource encourages you to trust Christ more deeply, walk faithfully in obedience, and discover the freedom that comes from daily surrender.

Our mission is to glorify God by encouraging people to surrender daily, live in agreement with His Word, grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and faithfully follow wherever He leads.
We seek to cultivate authentic faith through biblical teaching, prayer, encouragement, and honest conversations that remind us obedience is not about perfection—it is about continually saying “yes” to God.
Everything we create exists to point people back to Jesus, strengthen believers in their daily walk, and inspire a life of worship through continual surrender.
